ईशान, elder brother of हलायुध. Latter half of 12th century; a. of द्विजाह्निकपद्धति (according to ब्राह्मणसर्वस्व) m. in आह्निकतत्त्व. An ईशानन्यायाचार्य is m. in उद्वाहतत्त्व (vol. II. p. 135 ).
