⁴⁰⁵ चाण्डालं पतितं म्लेच्छं मद्यभाण्डं रजस्वलाम् । द्विजः स्पृष्ट्वा न भुञ्जीत भुञ्जानो यदि संस्पृशेत् । अतः परं न भुञ्जीत त्यक्त्वाऽन्नं स्नानमाचरेत् । अत्रि (आनन्दाश्रम ed.) verses 267-269.
