*Agnipariṇayana*: (the bride-groom going in front takes the bride round the fire and water jar). It is while doing this that he utters the words 'amohasmi' &c. (vide Śāṅ. gṛ. I. 13. 4, Hir. gṛ. I. 20. 2 &c).
