¹²⁸⁴ एकस्य बह्व्यो विहिता महिष्यः कुरुनन्दन । नैकस्या बहवः पुंसः श्रूयन्ते पतयः क्वचित् । लोकवेदविरुद्धं त्वं नार्धमं धर्मविच्छुचिः । कर्तुमर्हसि कौन्तेय कस्मात्ते बुद्धिरीदृशी । आदि. 195. 27-29; vide सभापर्व 68.35 where Karṇa speaks of Draupadī as 'bandhakī' (a harlot), because she had many men as her husbands.
