¹⁹⁰³ माधूकमैक्षवं टाङ्कं कौलं खार्जूरपानसे । मृद्वीकारसमाध्वीके मैरेयं नारिकेलजम् ॥ अमेध्यानि दशैतानि मद्यानि ब्राह्मणस्य च । राजन्यश्चैव वैश्यश्च स्पृष्टैतानि न दुष्यति ॥ विष्णुधर्मसूत्र 22. 83-84. These are quoted by अपरार्क p. 926, where the reading is मार्द्धीकं कारमार्द्धिकम्. अपरार्क p. 1070 quotes these as बृहद्विष्णु (reading मैरं तालं खार्जूर०), पुलस्त्य has two viz. सैर and आरिष्ट (prepared from ariṣṭa, a kind of berry) in place of टाङ्क.
