¹⁸⁶⁰ पञ्च पञ्चनखा भक्ष्या ब्रह्मक्षत्रेण राघव । शल्यकः श्वाविधो गोधा शशः कूर्मश्च पञ्चमः ॥ किष्किन्धाकाण्ड 17. 39. वसिष्ठ 14. 47 notes that there was a difference of opinion about the flesh of the rhinoceros and wild boar ‘खड्गे च विवदन्त्यग्राम्यशूकरे च’. शान्ति 140. 70 is पञ्च पञ्चनखा भक्ष्या ब्रह्मक्षात्रस्य वै द्विजाः।
