²¹⁵⁹ त्रयाणां वर्णानां वेदमधीत्य चत्वार आश्रमा इति सूत्रकारवचनाच्च द्विजातिमात्रस्याधिकारमाहुः । मिता. on या. I. 56-57. The स्मृतिच० I. p. 65 states that the सूत्रकार is कात्यायन.
