²³⁴⁸ The mantra for the middle paridhi is गन्धर्वोसि विश्वावसुर्विश्वस्मादघषतो यजमानस्य परिधिरिड ईडितः, that for the southern paridhi is इन्द्रस्य बाहुरसि दक्षिणो यजमानस्य ... ईडितः, that for the northern one is मित्रावरुणौ त्वोत्तरतः परिधत्तां ध्रुवेण धर्मणा ... ईडितः. These occur in Tai. S. I. 1. 11 and Vāj. S. II. 3.
