²⁴¹³ The meaning of Yaśobhaginī and Veśabhaginī in Śat. II. 5. p. 230 is obscure. In Vāj. S. II. 20 यशोभगिन्यै is explained by महीधर as जीवतः पुरुषस्य प्रशंसा यशः तस्य यशसो भगिनी वाग्रूपा. In काठकसं. V. 4 सरस्वती is called वेशभगिनी.
