²⁴⁷¹ Āp. VIII. 18. 2 says (against Kāt. V. 10. 15) that they go round from left to right. Her mantra becomes ‘त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पतिवेदनम्। उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनादितो मुक्षीय मामुतः॥ (वाज. सं.) or मुक्षीय मा पतेः (as quoted in आप. VIII. 18. 3.)
