²⁴⁹⁸ अध्वर्युणा समिद्भ्यः प्रेष्येति प्रेषितः सम्मैत्रावरुण आह। होता यक्षदग्निं समिधा सुषमिधा समिद्धं नाभा पृथिव्याः सङ्गथे वामस्य वर्मन्दिव इच्छस्पदे वेत्वाज्यस्य होतर्यज ।. This is the praiṣa for *samidhaḥ*. In the other praiṣas the names of deities are also put in the objective case (e. g. होता यक्षत्तनून-पातम् or नराशंसम्). Vide Vāj. S. 21. 29–40 for the praiṣas of all the prayāja deities uttered by Maitrāvaruṇa with reference to the Āprīs.
