²⁵¹² The adhvaryu directs the maitrāvaruṇa in the words स्वाहाऽग्निभ्यः प्रेष्य and the latter says होता यक्षदग्निं स्वाहाऽग्नयस्य स्वाहा मेदसः &c. (Āśv. III. 4. 3) and the hotṛ then repeats the last Āprī verse (whatever hymn is used) as the yājyā for the 11th प्रयाज.
