184a 184 a. Patañjali in the Mahābhāṣya on vārtika 4 on Pāṇ. I. 4. 52 cites the example 'पश्यति रूपतर्कः कार्षापणम्। दर्शयति रूपतर्कं कार्षापणम्'. Here रूपतर्क appears to mean one who can examine a coin or probably the same as रूपदर्शक in Kauṭ.'.
