¹⁰⁷² मनु IX. 111 is quoted as प्रजापति's by व्यव. नि. p. 408. The मदनरत्न regards मनु and प्रजापति as different 'पृथग्दैवपित्र्यकर्मकरणाद्धर्मवृद्धिमपेक्षमाणा विभजेयुरित्याहर्तुर्मनुप्रजापती एवं सह वसेयुर्वा etc.'.
