¹⁰⁹⁷ वैद्यो वैद्याय नाकामो दद्यादंशं स्वतो धनात् । पित्र्यं द्रव्यं समाश्रित्य न चेत्तेन तदाहृतम् ॥ नारद, दायभाग 11 ; कुले विनीतविद्यानां भ्रातॄणां पितृतोपि वा । शौर्याप्तं तद्यद्वित्तं विभाज्यं तद् बृहस्पतिः । कात्या. 874 q. by स्मृतिच. II. p. 275, परा. मा. III. p. 560, व्य. म. p. 126. From this verse it appears that Kāt. echoes the views of Bṛ. In the व्यव. नि p. 447 this verse is ascribed to बृह.
