⁴²⁵ उपायैश्चोद्यमानस्तु न दद्यादुत्तरं तु यः । अतिक्रान्ते सप्तरात्रे जितोऽसौ दातुमर्हति ॥ वसिष्ठ q. in स्मृतिच० II. p. 46, परा. मा. III. p. 81, व्य. प्र. p. 56 (reads उभयैश्चोद्य० and दण्डमर्हति). This is हारीत acc. to स. वि. p. 99.
