⁹⁶⁶ स्त्रीसंग्रहणवाक्पारुष्यदण्डपारुष्याणां साहसभेदत्वेपि पृथङ्निर्देशो गोबलीवर्न्यायेन । व्य. मयूख p. 2. When a man says गाव आनीयन्तां बलीवर्दाश्च the separate mention of *balīvardas* (bulls) that can be included under the word 'gāvaḥ' is due to the fact that bulls, being more intractable than cows, special attention must be paid to manage them. अपरार्क p. 1048 (on Yāj. III. 230) employs the same maxim in a similar connection 'गोबलीवर्दन्यायेन च पौनरुक्त्यपरिहारः'.
