¹⁴⁸⁷ अलङ्कारो भार्याया ज्ञातिधनं चेके । आप. ध. सू. II. 6. 14. 9 ; मातुरलङ्कारं दुहितरः सांप्रदायिकं लभेरन्नन्यद्वा । बौ. ध. सू. II. 2. 49 ; मातुः पारिणेयं स्त्रियो विभजेरन् । वसिष्ठ 17. 46. The वि. र. p. 521 explains आप. as 'ज्ञातिधनं चेति विवाहे यद्धनं यौतकाख्यं लब्धं तदपि भार्याया एव'. The मिता. on याज्ञ. II. 117 seems to have read this as a supplement to the preceding sūtra about the special share of the eldest son. The दायभाग IV. 2. 15 p. 82 and विवादचन्द्र p. 75 read पारिणाय्यं in Vas. and explain as परिणयनलब्धं धनं or विवाहकालीनं respectively.
