v4.c63.t2.366
*Dominion over strīdhana.*—What is strīdhana and what dominion a woman has over strīdhana depend on three things, viz. the source of acquiring the property, her status at the time of acquisition (i. e. whether she was a maiden or a married woman whose husband was living or a widow), the school of law by which she is governed. Certain verses of Kāt. and Nār. are the principal texts on this subject. Kāt. (905-907, 911)
