⁸⁴ अनाश्रमी न तिष्ठेच्च क्षणमेकमपि द्विज.। आश्रमेण विना तिष्ठन् प्रायश्चित्तीयते हि सः॥ दक्ष I 10, one must belong to one of the four आश्रमs, ब्रह्मचर्य, गार्हस्थ्य, वानप्रस्थ and संन्यास and act as would befit that āśrama.
