²¹⁵ अग्नौ सक्तिर्ब्रह्मघ्नस्त्रिरवच्छातस्य । गौ 22 2; अपि वा लोमानि त्वचं मांसमिति हावयित्वाग्निं प्रविशेत् । आप. ध I. 9 25.13: भ्रूणहाग्निमुपसमाधाय जुहुयाद्देवता । लोमानि मृत्योर्जुहोमि लोमभिर्मृत्यु वासय इति प्रथमाम् ।.. मज्जानं मृत्योर्जुहोमि मज्जाभिर्मृत्युं वासयं इत्यष्टमीम्। वसिष्ठ 20 25-26 When या III. 247 prescribes that he should utter लोमभ्यः स्वाहा, the देवता is मृत्यु and लोम, त्वक् and all others are the आहुतिs.
