*ŚIŚU-CĀNDRĀYAṆA*—Manu XI. 219, Baud Dh. S IV. 5 19, Aginpurāna 171.5 state that when a brāhmaṇa eats (for a month) four mouthfuls in the morning and four after sun-set, that is Śiśu-cāndrāyaṇa (cāndrāyana for boys, old men &c).
