⁵⁵⁵ It should be noticed that in Ṛg VIII 95 7-9 the word 'śuddha' (pure) occurs thirteen times and hence it is appropriate that those verses are employed as purificatory ones Similarly, in Ṛg. VII. 56.12 the word 'śuci' (pure) occurs six times.
