596a इगन्ताच्च लघुपूर्वात्। पा. V. 1 131 (अण् अनुवर्तते)—शुचेर्भावः कर्म वा शौचम्। न शौचमशौचम्। This is one way of explaining the word We may also explain न शुचि अशुचि, अशुचेर्भावः कर्म च आशौचं or अशौचं according to नञ्ः शुचीश्वरक्षेत्रज्ञकुशलनिपुणानाम्। (पा VII 3.30).
