*Kalpādi*—seven tithis are mentioned as the beginnings of Kalpas in Mat viz. Vai śu. 3, Phā Kr. 3, Cai. śu 5, Cai Kr 5 (or amāvasyā?), M śu 13, K śu 7, Mārg śu 9 Vide HK 670-1. NS 82, SmK 5-6 and H of Dh. IV 374. They are śrāddha tithis Hemādri mentions 30 tithis as Kalpādi from Nāgarakhaṇḍa The Mat (chap 290 3-11) names thirty Kalpas somewhat different from those in the Nāgarakhaṇḍa.
