⁸² पाणिः पणाaction? पूजार्थः । प्रपूजयन्ति पाणी देवान् पूजयन्ति । निरुक्त II 26. It may be noted that the Nighaṇṭu III 5 enumerates ten verbs meaning 'paricaran' (waiting upon) one of which is सपर्याति, while 44 verbs of which पूजयति is one are separately enumerated as mean ng 'अर्चति'
