*Puṇḍarīkayajñaprāpti*—worship Varuṇa, lord of waters, on 12th; he secures fruit of Puṇḍarīka sacrifice; HV I. 1204 (only one verse). Vanaparva 30. 117 shows it was a great yajña like Aśvamedha and Rājasūya. Vide Āśvalāyana Śrautasūtra (uttaraṣaṭka IV. 4) for Puṇḍarīkayāga.
