In chap. 18. 5-6 it is said that Vāmana appeared in month of Śr. on 12th tithi when the nakṣatra was Śravaṇa, the *muhūrta* was Abhijit and this tithi is called *Vijayādvādaśī*. Vide HV I. pp. 1138-1145 (from Bhaviṣyottara) much of which is quoted by Vratārka.
