*Śivanaktavrata*—(1) observe nakta on kr. 8th and 14th; secures pleasures in this world and reaches Śivaloka; KKV 386, HV II. 398 (from Bhav ), (2) nakta on each parva for a year, and worship of Śiva for a year; KKV 386 For *parvan*, vide H. of Dh vol. III. p 737 note 1425; (3) on 8th, 9th, 13th and 14th, performer takes only ekabhakta, food being served on the ground; for a year; KKV 386-387.
