*Samudra-snāna*—one should bathe in the sea on *parvan* days such as Full Moon and Amāvāsyā, but not on Tuesday or Friday, one should honour the sea and Aśvattha tree, but not touch them; however on Saturday Aśvattha may be touched; there is no restriction as to time in taking a bath at Setu (Rāmeśvara), D. S. 36.
