¹⁷⁰ पूर्णमासादण् । वार्तिक 2 (on पा IV 2. 35) on which महाभाष्य says 'पूर्णमासादण् वक्तव्यः । पूर्णमासो वर्ततेऽस्मिन् काले पौर्णमासी तिथिः।' It appears from this that both कात्यायन and पतञ्जलि are speaking of पूर्णिमान्त months.
