⁴⁹⁷ यक्षरात्रि along with कौमुदीजागर and others is included among sports (क्रीडाः) that are to be engaged in by several people The commentary जयमङ्गला on वात्स्यायन (I. 4.42) calls it सुखरात्रि and explains 'तत्र प्रायशो लोकस्य द्यूतक्रीडा'. The कृत्यतत्त्व (p 451) and का. त. वि (p 319) quote a verse; अमावास्या यदा रात्रौ दिवाभागे चतुर्दशी। पूजनीया तदा लक्ष्मीर्विज्ञेया सुखरात्रिका॥ इति वचनात्. Here लक्ष्मीपूजन on अमावास्या is called सुखरात्रिका
