¹³⁸⁶ अयं चापि विशुद्धात्मन् पुराणे श्रूयते विभो । मरुत्तेन महाबुद्धे गीतः श्लोको महात्मना ॥ गुरोरप्यवलिप्तस्य कार्याकार्यमजानतः । उत्पथप्रतिपन्नस्य परित्यागो विधीयते ॥ उद्योग 178 47-48. The cr ed has a wavy line below पुराणे and reads 'कार्यं भवति शासनम्' with a wavy line for परि ॰॰यते. This verse 'गुरो &c.' is शान्तिपर्व 140 48 and is also शान्ति 57. 6-7, where it is said that it occurred in बार्हस्पतिमह आदिपर्व 140. 54 has this verse but reads the last पाद as न्याय्यं भवति शासनम् ।.
