²⁰⁸⁴ Compare निरुक्त VII 6-7 with जैमिनि IX. 1 9 अपि वा शब्दपूर्व-त्वाद्यज्ञकर्म प्रधानं स्याद्गुणत्वे देवताश्रुति.; शबर on this has several phrases like पौरुष-विधिकैरङ्गैः (शबर p. 1654, निरुक्त VII. 7), which appear to be taken from the निरुक्त.
