v7.c93.628

The preceding pages are enough to exhibit the main doctrines and some of the principal Mīmāṁsā rules of interpretation and the great influence that the Mīmāṁsā exercised for over two thousand years on Dharmaśāstra works from the Āpastambadharmasūtra to late medieval works like the Smṛtitattva, Nirṇayasindhu and Vyavahāramayūkha. An exhaustive treatment of the numerous technical terms, topics and principles of the mīmāṁsā would easily cover a thousand pages, would enormously add to the extent of this work and has to be given up here for reasons of space, if for no other reason.
