**निमित्तापत्तौ नैमित्तिकावृत्ति** — जै VI 2. 27-28 and 29. Such passages as भिन्ने जुहोति स्कन्ने जुहोति really lay down that whenever such a *nimitta* as breaking occurs a fresh homa has to be performed. Vide मेधा on मनु XI. 220 (एतदुद्वास्ताश्च &c) and मिता on या I. 81.
