। (II 8 and 10). The word अनन्त is explained in different ways. This is rather far-fetched and unsatisfactory, as hardly anywhere else is अनन्तनागसमापत्ति recommended भोज takes अनन्त to mean आकाश 'यदा चाकाशादिगत आनन्त्ये चेतसः समापत्तिः क्रियतेऽव्यवधानेन तादात्म्यमापद्यते तदा देहाहंकाराभावाज्ञासनं दु. This is a little better than Vācaspati's explanation. Brahma is described as II 1)
