¹¹ The term ghaṭṭam which is identical with Sanskrit Ghata denotes a contingent of war elephants. According to the Rāyavācakamu, a ghaṭṭam consisted of ten elephants, so that there were in all 1,200 animals in Kṛṣṇadēva Rāya's army.
