⁸ *Manu*, III. 151; *Baudhāyana*, II. 1, 2, 13. As has been already stated, Baudhāyana does not permit the Brāhmaṇa to teach professional dancers, and actors the actual works on their art (*nāṭyācāryatā*), e. g. the *naṭa-sūtras* mentioned by Pāṇini (IV 3, 110).
