**Restaurants.** Similarly, vintners (*Śauṇḍikāḥ*), sellers of cooked meat (*Pākvamāṁsikāḥ*), and rice (*Audanikāḥ*), and women of ill-fame could allow persons well-known to them to stay with them, but they had to send reports about persons who were extravagant in their expenditure or who were of dangerous tendencies.
