It will thus appear that *Rājaśāsana* or the royal edict which is mentioned as the fourth source of Law is really based on *Nyāya* or what is right in the view of the king. The *Rājaśāsana* or the king's application of the law, or what may be called the judge's decision or judge-made law, will be determined by *Nyāya* or Right.
