Blankets. There was considerable trade in blankets of wool. Nepal is mentioned as a source of good blankets; of rain-proof (*varshāvāraṇam*) blankets made up of eight pieces joined together and of black colour, known as Bhingisī; as well as blankets known as *Apasāraka*.
