**Duties of different Āśramas.** There are pointed out the four Ages of Life called the *Āśramas*, viz., those of (1) *Brahmachārī* (student) (2) *Gṛihastha* (the married state) (3) *Vānaprastha* (dweller in forest) (4) *Parivrājaka* (wandering ascetic).
