In the Sevâḍi Stone Inscription of Aśvarâja of the year 1110-11 A.D. from Mârwâr in Râjputânâ, the titles are confused. There appears a new administrative term. Mahâsâhaṇiya is the great master of stables.² In another inscription of the year 1179-80 A.D. (Mârwâr) mention is made of the bhukti of the queen.³ Perhaps the proceeds of the province had been made over to her.
