VIII-XXXVI of the *Arthaśāstra* was published in the *Journal of the Bihar and Orissa Research Society* (Patna) Vols. XI and XII (1927) Bhattasvamin's Commentary on the *Arthaśāstra* is incomplete. It deals only with book II, and with chapters from viii to xxxvi only.
