Nanda Paṇḍita's commentary (called the *Vaijayantī*) on the *Viṣṇudharma sūtra* is still considered to be an authority of the Benares School. Equally authoritative is his treatise on adoption known as the *Dattaka-* *Mīmāṃsā*. His works belong to the first quarter of the seventeenth century.
