Dvija Rāmachandra is the poet-singer of the narrative poem *Ambikā-Mangala*,²⁶ a work which is still in manuscript. Much of the material contained in this work resembles the contents of the *Kavikankaṇa-Chaṇḍī*. In point of literary excellence it should appear to be of at least the same merit as this famous *Chaṇḍī*, which happens to command the attention of the reading public perhaps on account of the sheer accident of being available in print.
