32. As for the captives that the faujdars and others send to the subahdar, immediately on their arrival inquire with all diligence into their cases, and if the cases relate to the revenue of the Crownlands deliver them to the revenue officers, urging them to dispose of the cases promptly. Otherwise apply to them any of the above sections that may be appropriate to their respective cases. Once every month inquire into the cases of the prisoners in the *kachari* and police *chabutra*, &c., release the innocent and urge the quick trial of the others.
