Year 8. A resolution (*javasthai*) of the assembly not to take *paṭṭikāḍi*. (?) The meeting is described in the quaint terms: *abāla-vṛddhar-amaiya epperppaṭṭadum niramba-kkuḍi-yirundu* i. e., "everybody including the young and the old met and sat in the full assembly." (62 of 1898).
