Parākrama Pāṇḍya, Nos. 12 and 13 (*ante*), which refer to a Naralōkavīraṇśandi and a hall called Naralōka-vīraṇ, it is probable that Parākrama Pāṇḍya was met in battle and defeated by our chieftain who is said to have compelled the Pāṇḍyas to take refuge in the mountain with their women-folk :
